The Welding Institute, Cambridge is one of the world’s foremost independent research and technology organisations. We designed three buildings set within the landscape at Granta Park for our fantastic client.
TWI specialises in research and development and has education at its heart, with the NSIRC Cambridge Education Facility based here too. Sympathetic to the surrounding landscape, the light filled interior spaces engage directly with the beauty of outside environment, the main sculptural stair linking the two levels.
